As we know, Lúcio Alberto Pinheiro dos Santos (1889-1950) coined the term « rhythmanalysis », which Gaston Bachelard (1884-1962) and Henri Lefebvre (1901-1991) later made famous. Intense research, still in progress, has recently brought to light a certain number of texts, mainly published in the press, which shed a whole new light on the thought of the Portuguese thinker, who went into exile in Brazil following the military coup of 1926 and whose main work, probably sent to Bachelard at the very end of the 1920s, seems unfortunately lost. RHUTHMOS is happy to contribute to a better knowledge of his work.
